I just read about this really cool hack: He installed the well known Unix-Tool “xeyes” in his window – no, not Windows, window. The thing to look out of your room if the shades are not down. (Video available)

The effect is that the innocent bywalkers on the street will feel, well, watched. Not like otherwise where they probably are watched and don’t know about it. Might be a very cool gimmic for privacy related PR actions, or just to generally protest against state surveilliance...
